Our first ever golf tournament is scheduled for October 26th, 2008 at the beautiful Crystal Falls Golf Course in Leander, Texas. This will be a fun-filled day of golf! Folks, this isn't going to be your ordinary golf tournament, expect some whacky contests and terrific prizes. Plus, yummy bar-b-que! Why not - it is before wrestling season starts! Capital City Wrestling Club is gearing up for the 2008-2009 wrestling season. Registration will be August 1st - October 15th and can be done online this year with the option to pay by paypal or mail your registration fee.

Coach Scott Norton Founder of CCWC Coach Scott returns to coaching youth wrestling in South Austin in Oak Hill at the Y. One thing is for certain - his wrestlers will be the most conditioned wrestlers on the mat!
Coach Randy McLemore Head Coach of CCWC Although Randy's oldest son will begin his High School Wrestling Journey this year at VRHS he still has his youngest, Tyler, who will continue wrestling for Capcity for the next 4 years. Jason Jewett will head up the practices and they will be 2 nights a week at the Old Rec Center in Lago Vista.
The Capital City Wrestling Club (CCWC) is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organization based in Lago Vista, Texas. Our certified coaching staff's vision is to increase the technical knowledge and enhance the competitive spirit of wrestlers through training and competition. It is the goal of CCWC to provide access to the best training techniques and opportunities for our wrestlers to be successful. CCWC is a chartered member of USA Wrestling, the governing body of amateur wrestling in the United States. We provide the youth of our area the opportunity to participate in local, regional, and national wrestling events. CCWC athlete's have continued to excel competitively. This is because CCWC provides leadership, organization, financial support, elite level coaching, as well as assistance for regional and national travel for our team members.
CCWC is dedicated toward helping wrestlers become future leaders. We strive to create and support champions that display leadership, discipline, integrity and loyalty. These characteristics are fundamentally important to success both on and off the mat. We hope that all CCWC athletes remain positively involved in their community and give back to the sport . With the continued support of our community, the long list of Capital City Wrestling leaders and champions will continue to grow!
